Welcome, and thank you for visiting Martin Drafting and Design, Inc, the home of quality and affordable residential and light commercial planning and design services in Indiana and beyond.
Located in Peru Indiana, Martin Drafting and Design was created to provide much needed service to clients throughout north central Indiana, and thanks to the Internet, I can provide my service to all of North America. Since forming Martin Drafting and Design, Inc in late 2003, we have worked on various projects, from coast to coast, with homes and offices in 24 states and the Bahamas.
Joey R. Martin, president of Martin Drafting and Design Inc., a nationally award winning residential designer, operates the company as lead building designer. Joey is recognized by the American Institute of Building Design as a Professional Building Designer, the credential of Professional Building Designer is the highest classification level which a professional member of the AIBD can attain. To qualify, an individual must first possess a minimum five years of educational and professional experience. A Professional Building Designer must subscribe to a scrupulous code of professional ethics. Equally significant, commit to professional development through a continuing education policy. Joey also participates greatly within the Institute, serving as chairman for the Millennium Council of the AIBD, which serves to promote growth and education for young architects and designers. When not promoting the AIBD, Mr. Martin is also very active with the National Association of Home Builders. As a nationally certified instructor, Joey travels the country when asked to provide education to builders and builder associates in the fields of Green Building, Aging in Place, and Business Management. Joey has achieved the designations of Certified Green Professional, Certified Aging in Place Specialist, and Certified Graduate Associate, one of the highest designations an associate can achieve within the NAHB. Besides being active on a national level, Joey also serves within the Indiana Builders Association on various committees, and is President of the North Central Indiana Builders Association serving Cass, White, and Miami counties in Indiana.
